Carbonance’s accreditation comes at a pivotal moment for Türkiye and the wider region, as financial institutions prepare for more advanced expectations around the disclosure of emissions associated with financial activities, climate-related financial risk, sustainability reporting, and assurance-ready data governance, especially as the region gears up to host COP31.
As part of the PCAF Accredited Partner Program, Carbonance supports financial institutions in applying the PCAF Standard through a structured software environment, helping strengthen the consistency, transparency, and credibility of carbon accounting and the reporting of emissions associated with financial activities.
Carbonance supports financial institutions through an integrated climate and sustainable finance technology platform built around the vision to measure, align, report, score, and finance sustainability performance. Through its core products CCAS™, ComplianceIQ™, SupplySense™, Cindeks™ and Green Finance Suite™, Carbonance enables PCAF-aligned workflows where data is securely managed and calculations are traceable.

“It’s great to announce Carbonance’s entry to our Program of Accredited Partners, supporting PCAF signatories. It’s a huge milestone to expand the network in Türkiye. Carbonance’s core products support PCAF-aligned workflows, and help to strengthen the consistency, credibility and transparency of measuring and reporting Scope 3 emissions.”
Tuna Öztürk, Founder of Carbonance, said:
“Joining PCAF’s Accredited Partner Program is an important moment for Carbonance and for the financial institutions we serve. As emissions associated with financial activities accounting evolves from a reporting requirement into a business need, financial institutions increasingly require support from software providers with secure data management, traceable calculations, transparent assumptions, and reporting outputs.”
Emrullah Dak, CEO & Vice Chairman of the Board at Carbonance, said:
“As Türkiye prepares to host COP31, strengthening its role in global climate finance is crucial. Accountability and transparency for emissions associated with financial activities, is becoming central to the future of sustainable finance. Our aim, as a technology platform emerging from Türkiye, is to strengthen the infrastructure for measuring emissions associated with financial activities in a way that is PCAF-aligned, reliable, and scalable for financial institutions at a regional scale."
PCAF's Accredited Partner Program is tailored to third-party companies, including consultancies, data providers, and software firms, that support financial institutions committed to using the PCAF Standard. Specifically, these partners assist in measuring and disclosing emissions associated with financial activities. Through the program, Accredited Partners and PCAF work together to support consistent, comparable, and high-quality disclosures.
About PCAF
The Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials was launched globally in September 2019. Currently, 750+ financial institutions have subscribed to the PCAF initiative. PCAF signatories work together to jointly develop the Global GHG Accounting and Reporting Standard for the Financial Industry to measure and disclose the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their financial activities. By doing so, PCAF signatories take an important step to subsequently assess climate-related risks, set climate targets, and develop effective strategies to steer their portfolios.
